Terms and conditions for classes

Terms and conditions for classes between us “Kalemat Alquran Academy” and students “you”.

Classes enrollment

  • Enrollment in online live classes can be done by scheduling a trial class at our class booking form or by reaching out to us through the Free trial Form, Email, WhatsApp, or our Social media pages.
  • By enrolling in online live classes you consent that you are 18 or above. Or you are under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
  • After attending a free trial class, you may request another trial class, or continue with the appointed teacher.
  • After the trial, students have no obligation to pay for the trial class or continue class with the teacher.

Student attendance, cancellation, and makeup of classes

  • Students and teachers must be online on time. No delays are accepted from both student and teacher sides.
  • If a student finds they can’t attend a class for any reason, they must contact support at least 4 hours before the class starts and ensure that the class is rearranged to another suitable time (only 25% of your monthly classes can be rearranged. Classes can also be arranged through the student portal.
  • If a student misses a class without rescheduling it or contacting support 4 hours before the class starts. Half of this class time will be considered completed and the other half can be arranged for another time. Except for emergencies approved by the support team.
  • Makeup classes must be rescheduled within 35 days of the monthly subscription only and can’t be rescheduled after that time.
  • Makeup classes can’t be rescheduled more than one time. If missed, no makeup class is made for it.
  • For pausing classes temporarily for long holidays or any other reason. Students must reach out to the support team.
  • Teacher waiting time for the student is considered part of the class.
  • If a student had to leave during class. A full class time is considered as completed.

Eid holidays

For the days of Eid Alfitr and Aladha, three days each. No classes are delivered during these three days and are considered completed as a gift to teachers and can not be rescheduled.

Teacher attendance

In rare circumstances, a teacher might miss a class (e.g. a medical emergency), in such cases, if a teacher is late for the class, the student should contact the support team that they are online preferably within 3 minutes of the class start time. The teacher will make up for any missed time or class.

If the teacher is often late or misses classes, kindly contact the support as soon as possible for immediate action.

Payment for class

The available payment options now are PayPal, Visa card, Mastercard, Skrill, Western Union, Ria money transfer, Moneygram, Bank transfer, Payoneer, and Crypto transfer. Payments are protected by PayPal buyer protection, our payment gateway provider under our website SSL certificate.

Refund policy

Refunds of payments are allowed for the non-completed classes. No refund can be requested for the classes you have attended or missed without prior notice 4 hours before class.

Students can request a refund by reaching out to the support team. Refunds may take up to 7 business days to complete.

Kindly don’t request a refund through Paypal or your card directly and reach out to us for refunds.

Quality control

Classes may be monitored by HR or the support team after the implied permission of the student to improve the quality of the teaching methods and assist teachers with their teaching process. The Quality control team also measures attendance discipline, regular teacher training, student & teacher feedback, and quarterly progress reports. 

Class duration and times

Students are free to choose the class duration and the number of classes they want. Arranging classes by the students must be within the availability times of the teacher. If the appointed teacher has no time available, the academy appoints another teacher who meets the student’s requirements.

Dress Code

Students should ensure that their outfit is modest and suitable for the Holy Quran classes. Non-Muslim students should wear as acceptable modest clothing as possible.

Rating and feedback

Our Quality department may email you regularly to ask for your feedback. Please let them know if you have any concerns, inquiries, or complaints. Your feedback helps us to improve our service. We highly appreciate it.

General terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to website content, information, online courses, live online classes, users, students, and any information provided by Kalemat Alquran Academy.

Services

Kalemat Alquran Academy offers certain online course content and classes relating to education, teaching practice, and related subjects. The course description is intended to indicate only the general nature of the course and does not guarantee content. Kalemat Alquran Academy reserves the right to amend the course and alter details at its discretion. Courses may be withdrawn at any time, subject to thirty days prior notice.

Copyright

All materials – including but not limited to text, photographs, video, audio, images, and any other content – appearing via the Online Course and/or on the Website are protected by copyrights and/or other proprietary rights belonging to Kalemat Alquran Academy and/or other third parties. You agree to abide by all applicable laws regarding copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, and privacy rights in NZ, the US, UK, CA, AU, and any other jurisdiction from which you are accessing the Website.

You may not copy, reproduce, duplicate, distribute, disseminate, publish, post, display, perform, modify, create derivative works from, upload to, transmit, or in any way exploit any content from the Online Course and/or on the Website.  You may not sell or offer for sale any of the content, or allow third parties to access it, or use such content to construct any kind of database. You may use the content from the Online Course and/or on the Website only for personal, non-commercial use.

You agree to maintain the security of any username and password required for accessing the Online Course. You will notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your username and/or password. Only you may access the course using your login details.

Delivering classes by the teachers

Classes must be delivered by the teacher within the academy only and not privately with the teacher. Agreeing with the appointed teacher on private classes outside the academy is strictly prohibited and substantially damages Kalemat Academy’s efforts and investment assigned for making study materials for students and teachers, video, and audio lessons, and providing premium subscriptions for meetings and class management apps.

Technology requirements

The Online Courses and live classes are facilitated through an online learning management system. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the proper hardware and software requirements, along with access to Wi-Fi, to be able to participate in the course. Kalemat Alquran Academy is not responsible for any errors or failures in relation to your ability to access them, the Website or any related materials, including where such errors or failures are caused by: (i) a loss of connection on Kalemat Alquran website, teacher or your end; (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online software and/or (iii) a breakdown or problems with your internet connection, computer or system.

Data protection

By registering with Kalemat Alquran Academy and paying the fees, you agree to Kalemat Alquran Academy collecting and using your personal data. This will be done in accordance with Kalemat Alquran Academy’s privacy policy. 

Limitation of liability

Except in case of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, Kalemat Alquran Academy accepts no liability for any damages caused in connection with the services under this agreement. This includes but is not limited to damages in the form of data loss, failure to operate, lost revenue, or missed profits.
