Terms and Conditions for Classes
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of classes between Kalemat Alquran Academy (“the Academy”, “we”, “us”) and the student (“you”, “your”).
Student Attendance, Cancellation, and Class Policy
Attendance
- Students and teachers are expected to attend classes on time.
- Teacher waiting time is included in the class duration if a student is late.
- If a student leaves the class early, the class is considered fully completed.
Missed Classes & Cancellation Policy
- If a student cancels a lesson more than 3 hours before the scheduled class time:
The class will not be counted and may be rescheduled if needed. - If a student cancels a lesson within 3 hours before the class start time (late notice):
The class will be counted as 50% completed.
This option is limited to a maximum of 20% of the total classes within each billing month.
Any late cancellations beyond this 20% limit will be considered fully completed classes. - If a student misses the class after the scheduled start time (no-show):
The class will be considered fully completed and cannot be rescheduled.
Makeup Classes
- Classes canceled more than 3 hours before the scheduled class time may be rescheduled if needed.
- Rescheduling is subject to teacher availability and scheduling arrangements.
Pausing Classes
- Students may request to pause their classes for travel, holidays, or other personal reasons by contacting support.
- Approval is required before a pause takes effect.
- Classes that take place during an approved pause period are not counted or included in the monthly invoice.
Eid Holidays
- During Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha, classes stop for 3 days each.
- Classes during these 3-day Eid holiday periods are considered fully completed and cannot be rescheduled.
Teacher Attendance
- If a teacher is late for the scheduled class, the student should contact support or the teacher within 2–3 minutes of the scheduled start time.
- The teacher will make up any significant missed class time or reschedule the class when necessary.
- If teacher lateness or absence happens repeatedly, please contact support immediately.
Billing & Payment
Billing
- Billing takes place at the end of every month.
- The payment invoice will include:
- Scheduled classes that were completed.
- Classes affected by late cancellation.
- Classes missed by the student (no-show).
- Any additional classes taken beyond the number of classes included in the student’s plan.
- The invoice will not include:
- Classes canceled more than 3 hours before the scheduled class time.
- Classes that take place during an approved pause period.
Payments
Accepted payment methods include:
PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Western Union, Ria, MoneyGram, Bank Transfer, and Payoneer.
All payments are secured through our systems. Payments are protected by PayPal buyer protection, our payment gateway provider, and our website’s SSL certificate.
Refund Policy
- Refunds are only available for unused classes, where applicable.
- No refund is provided for:
- Attended or completed classes.
- Missed classes without proper notice.
- Late cancellations that are counted according to the Attendance & Cancellation Policy.
- Refund requests must be sent to support.
- Processing may take up to 7 business days.
- Please contact us before opening any payment disputes.
Enrollment
- Students can book a free trial through our website, email, WhatsApp, or social media.
- By enrolling, you confirm that:
- You are 18 years of age or older, or
- You are enrolling under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
- After the trial, you may continue or stop without obligation.
Quality Control
- Classes may be monitored, with permission, to improve the quality of our services.
- This may include:
- Teacher training
- Attendance tracking
- Student feedback
- Progress reports
Class Scheduling
- Students choose the class duration and number of sessions included in their plan.
- Scheduling is subject to teacher availability.
- If necessary, the Academy may assign another suitable teacher.
Dress Code
- Students are expected to wear modest and appropriate clothing during classes.
- Non-Muslim students are also expected to follow respectful and appropriate dress standards.
Feedback
Our Quality Department may contact you regularly to request feedback about your classes.

General
By enrolling with Kalemat Alquran Academy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
These policies may be updated when necessary. Any significant changes will be communicated to students as appropriate.
General terms and conditions
These terms and conditions apply to website content, information, online courses, live online classes, users, students, and any information provided by Kalemat Alquran Academy.
Services
Kalemat Alquran Academy offers certain online course content and classes relating to education, teaching practice, and related subjects. The course description is intended to indicate only the general nature of the course and does not guarantee content. Kalemat Alquran Academy reserves the right to amend the course and alter details at its discretion. Courses may be withdrawn at any time, subject to thirty days prior notice.
Copyright
All materials – including but not limited to text, photographs, video, audio, images, and any other content – appearing via the Online Course and/or on the Website are protected by copyrights and/or other proprietary rights belonging to Kalemat Alquran Academy and/or other third parties. You agree to abide by all applicable laws regarding copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, and privacy rights in NZ, the US, UK, CA, AU, and any other jurisdiction from which you are accessing the Website.
You may not copy, reproduce, duplicate, distribute, disseminate, publish, post, display, perform, modify, create derivative works from, upload to, transmit, or in any way exploit any content from the Online Course and/or on the Website. You may not sell or offer for sale any of the content, or allow third parties to access it, or use such content to construct any kind of database. You may use the content from the Online Course and/or on the Website only for personal, non-commercial use.
You agree to maintain the security of any username and password required for accessing the Online Course. You will notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your username and/or password. Only you may access the course using your login details.
Class Delivery & Non-Circumvention Policy
All classes must be conducted exclusively through the academy’s official systems and platforms. Students are strictly prohibited from arranging, requesting, or participating in private lessons with any academy teacher outside the academy.
Any attempt to bypass the academy by engaging directly with a teacher, whether during or after enrollment, constitutes a violation of this agreement. Such actions are considered a direct infringement on the academy’s rights and may result in immediate suspension or termination of the student’s account without refund.
This policy is in place to protect the academy’s substantial investment in curriculum development, teacher recruitment and training, educational resources, and licensed platforms used for class delivery and management.
By enrolling, students acknowledge and agree to comply fully with this policy.
Technology requirements
The Online Courses and live classes are facilitated through an online learning management system. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the proper hardware and software requirements, along with access to Wi-Fi, to be able to participate in the course. Kalemat Alquran Academy is not responsible for any errors or failures in relation to your ability to access them, the Website or any related materials, including where such errors or failures are caused by: (i) a loss of connection on Kalemat Alquran website, teacher or your end; (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online software and/or (iii) a breakdown or problems with your internet connection, computer or system.
Data protection
By registering with Kalemat Alquran Academy and paying the fees, you agree to Kalemat Alquran Academy collecting and using your personal data. This will be done in accordance with Kalemat Alquran Academy’s privacy policy.
Limitation of liability
Except in case of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, Kalemat Alquran Academy accepts no liability for any damages caused in connection with the services under this agreement. This includes but is not limited to damages in the form of data loss, failure to operate, lost revenue, or missed profits.
